Please confirm that the armature is not worn and causing your issue. Many times this can be the problem and not the brushes.
All of our technician's response is consistent... "If the motor is original (pushing 20 years or more), it may be better to replace the entire motor as the brushes are only buying you more time before a motor replacement is required.
