This stone is for cleaning carbon buildup on the armature commutator on all D series and E-2 Rainbow vacuum cleaners. Carbon buildup on your commutator can reduce performance and may not allow the motor to run smoothly.
NOTE: This stone does not perform the process of "Seating" the motor brushes. It is designed to be used during and after the seating process to remove carbon buildup.
We have reduced the price on this item and will ship a small piece meant for 5-6 uses. There is no need to order a full 4 sticks for do-it-yourself repairs.
