This gasket is semi-permanent and almost never needs replaced. Only replace if accidentally damaged.

"I'm not sure about this one. It installed fine but when I tried installing the motor mount rubber I found that the motor mount also seals the water pan but it physically interferes with this gasket. In order to make the motor mount work I removed the pan portion of the gasket and just installed the hose inlet gasket to the pan. "

When replacing this gasket, you must read item details as they made several changes over the years. This gasket does NOT work with the R11316 which will result in an issue as you explained above. You must use R7286 with this gasket for a correct fit. Please call our tech. support if you need help. -
