Motor gasket for the early version E-2 (e SERIES™) Rainbow system. Helps seal the motor to the water pan.
Effective through serial number 9230145 with an end date of March 16th 2000.
Works with the R7284 water pan gasket.
UPDATE: This gasket is no longer available as an exact replacement. You have two options, order this item and get a universal factory OEM gasket that does not affect performance and is a direct install, or order an R11316 and R10534 while removing the R7284 original gasket.

"Hesitant about gluing gasket to unit and motor to gasket. Rainvac advised Goop glue. Worked and sealed as it should. No leaks or issues."

"All the products are good, but the new gasket for the motor has issues. The E- series rainbow which has the old type motor gasket comes glued to the vacuum. The new gasket not good for replacement. The old motor is for the gasket to be glued and the replacement needs to be the same type of gasket. The new gasket is made for the newer motor. I do not recommend it for the old type motor. Nothing wrong with the new gasket, but the old gasket is a better choice for the old motor. I’m giving a two star rating because I have the old motor and the old gasket is not available as an original part of rainbow. I order the new gasket because it replaces the old gasket, but had to use the old gasket that I took off because it was a better choice."
