Over the years the motor wears, and sometimes it is best to service, other times it is best to replace. Depending on the overall condition and what problem you are experiencing, this decision is sometimes easier than others.
The listed price reflects a $100 credit when returning your old motor. A pre-paid return label will be included in the box.
The current version motor has had numerous improvements and revisions over the years. From upgraded carbon brushes, nickel plated armature shaft, to a new spider design that works with the improved R4100 separator. If you currently do not have the R4100 "SE" version separator, then it might be a good idea to add that as well as an H555 separator nut. Both of these items are in the "Related" tab.
This motor is the original OEM factory motor for the model D4C SE (Special Edition) and D4C Rainbow vacuum.

"Appeared to be a new motor but was refurbished motor and working just fine. Wasn't clear on the paperwork I received if you wanted the old motor back to also refurbish. Hated throwing the 30 year old motor away if it could be refurbished"
