The separator is one of the most important parts on the Rainbow cleaning system. It throws the water back into the water pan and allows clean water washed air to travel up through the motor and out the exhaust. Be sure to take off and clean as it can become clogged with dirt and debris.
If your model is the D4 SE (Special Edition) with the R4101 spider, then this is the current revision. If you have a D4 or D3C, then you would also need to order the R4101 and H555.
