Over time the receptacle in your Rainbow D3A, D2A, or D2 unit can wear. If the power nozzle cord keeps falling out easily, replacing this will fix the problem.
The D3C is a two prong system and will not match this item.
You may find R1224 stamped on top of the receptacle and is an exact match to this item.

"I bought this receptacle as a used item but it arrived in like new condition, I was very impressed. I used this to convert a early D to work with the power nozzle. After a little fine use of a rotary tool and some wiring; I now have this D up to date for use in a carpeted home. I have ordered many parts from Rainvac going all the way back to 2014 and highly recommend them, best support you will find in the business."
