Over time the receptacle in your Rainbow D2 unit can wear. If the power nozzle cord keeps falling out easily, replacing this will fix the problem.
The original D2 and model D Rainbow were converted over to use this two prong system with the original R1024A power nozzle. You could also use an R-4375C, R-2800C, and R-1650C power nozzle with this Rainbow conversion.
This kit includes the shroud and mounting hardware to make a clean install.
Note: This receptacle is exactly the same as the D3C version except the color. Due to the D3C version being discontinued, you can purchase this item to replace.
