This optional fixed dolly wheel has been designed to not pivot and provides better tracking during travel across low profile carpet and non-carpeted surfaces such as hardwood, tile, linoleum, etc.
This fixed version is designed to only be a replacement for the rear caster only.
The wheel is fixed and will only work on the dolly that is made for it. The dolly will only have a single notch in the center that matches the single notch on this wheel plate.
You can NOT use a standard R4149 wheel in its place. Standard dolly wheel has TWO notches and will not slide into place and seat correctly.
NOTE: If your dolly is original from the factory with a fixed wheel, you must replace with a fixed wheel. You don't have the option to go to a standard wheel because the notches will not line up for installing.
