Bearing bridge and R1981 bearing for the model D4C SE (Special Edition) and D4C motor.
In September 1992, this item was changed to allow for the use of the improved R5124 and R5125 carbon brush kit.
Some technicians like the original design when using the R2700 holders and feel the brush holders fit tighter. You can request the original bridge in notes during checkout if you use R2700 holders.
You can see in image three the difference between the current (left) and original (right) design.
