The model D3A was in production from March 1980 through June 4th 1982. Then the D3C was introduced with an improved motor and ran through April 1986. This version was the first to have a plastic main housing and cap cover assembly.

The motor design in the early versions stayed the same as the late versions of the model D2. We can supply this vintage unit for collection.
