HEPA Filter, RHCS19, SRX - TRUE H13 Medical Grade
5 out of 5 based on 9 reviews. This is the factory original OEM True H13 class, Medical Grade HEPA filter (Neutralizer) for the model RHCS19, SRX series Rainbow vacuum.
You should replace your filter once every 3-4 years. If you need to replace it more often, you should change your water basin in the middle of cleaning. Once the water gets thick with dirt and debris, it becomes more difficult to filter. The dirt will start to bounce off the sludge and go up through the motor and get caught by the HEPA filter.
Be careful not to vacuum up drywall dust or baby powder as the water has a difficult time filtering this type of material.

It is better to toss your old filter and not replace it than to buy a generic filter. Generic filters do very little for the air quality while reducing your airflow and performance.

"I TOTALLY forgot about my vacuum having a HEPA FILTER. I came across a YOUTUBE video about it and ordered one. Sure there were less expensive ones available, but I chose to replace it with an OEM FILTER. After changing it, my housekeeper said it was like having a brand-new machine. She had to go over the blue area rug I have in the living room a few times to get the short fine white dog hair up. Now, it gets it all in one pass : ) Boy, now this machine really sucks. ( pun intended. sorry)"
