Chrome curved wand that fits every model Rainbow system except the e2 Black (E2 Type 12) version.
This revised version does have the button lock system but it does not apply when used on older D4C SE (Special Edition), D4C, D3C, D3A, D2A, D2, and D model Rainbow vacuums.
Even though it might be difficult, your old wand does remove from your standard hose. Twist and pull to remove.

"This item was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition as described. It works fine with my D3C. I replaced the wand because after 30+ years of use, the fit of the straight section to the wand was loose. The flexible tube was not difficult to remove or install onto the wand. "
