If you want to attach a PN-2E power nozzle to a D4C SE (Special Edition), D4C, D3C, D3A, D2A, or D2 Rainbow vacuum, this 8-foot hose will allow you to do that.
If you have a Rainbow model D3A, D2A, or D2 with a three-prong power nozzle receptacle, then you will need to order an R4901 conversion cord adapter.
UPDATE: New conversion hose assembly will now have the improved ergonomic R13361 Handle Kit, which is a snap-together design.

"Purchased this hose so I could use the newer version of the AquaMate with my 1980’s D3C. The RainVac support let me know what I needed to order to make the conversion. They also gave me a credit for a non-wet rated hose I had purchased with a new power nozzle in 2016. Great products and service."
