If you want to attach a PN-2E power nozzle to a D4C SE (Special Edition), D4C, D3C, D3A, D2A, or D2 Rainbow vacuum, this 12 foot hose will allow you to do that with an additional 6 feet compared to the standard hose.
If you have a Rainbow model D3A, D2A, or D2 with a three prong power nozzle receptacle, then you will need to order an R4901 conversion cord adaptor.

"purchased this item to replace an old unit, but this one has the trigger on the handle which gives you more control whereas the old original did not. I recommend everyone have a 12 foot model because you greatly increase your overhead reach."
