This AM-12 AquaMate III replaces the power nozzle on your Silver series Rainbow to create an instant shampooing system. NOTE: DOES NOT FIT THE BLACK SERIES or SRX SERIES!
This Silver series Rainbow AquaMate 3 model AM-12 is for the E2 Type 12 Silver, and E2 Type 12 Gold model Rainbow vacuum system. Includes one bottle of shampoo and an owner's manual. If you have a current wet-pickup rated hose, you can also use this carpet shampooer with the E-2 e SERIES.
TIP: How to tell if your current hose is rated for wet pickup?

For proper maintenance, empty the solution container and fill it with hot water, run in the wash cycle, and flush all solution out of the lines to prevent the solution from drying in the lines and creating a clog.

"Purchased this to use with my 1980’s D3C. Worked great on my carpets with the AquaMate shampoo. The only criticism I have is that the instructions were only pictures. I watched a Rainbow demonstration on-line and got the specifics of operation and cleaning after use. Great product and service."

"I ordered this unit and the electric conversion hose for a D3C I purchased used early 1990’s. I had also purchased a conversion power nozzle and 4Qt basin in 2016 but rarely found the time to use it. I thought my powerful upright was doing a good job of cleaning my light carpets. In preparation for getting 2 more dogs I thought it a good idea to get any possible scent of my two 15+ year old dogs, that recently passed, out of the carpet. It took 3 uses of the power nozzle before the water wasn’t totally black with dirt. Now I am shampooing and getting more black water, especially in high traffic areas, so I will keep going until water is clean. This attachment is amazing on a high, tight pile carpet and I will find time to use the power nozzle more often now. The only thing that was an issue was the instructions with the unit were just pictures. However I found a video online that answered my questions. The technical support group was very helpful in determining what I needed to order and the order came very quickly."
